A branding agency DOZEN designed “Carpathian Thing”, a new line of yogurts, for a dairy company Galychyna.
The agency was tasked with rethinking the visual style to underline new flavors in a wide variety of Galychyna’s products.
The client’s team offered us to use the authentic Galician names of berries and herbs as a “thing” for the flavors: afyny for blueberries, gogodzy for cranberries, etc.
Our design combined new dual botanical illustrations by Yevheniia Ivanova, which came to the fore and reinforced the idea of naturalness and taste, with a youth graphic eye stopper styled as eyes showing the shortest way to the legend on the package and a linguistic excursion into the Carpathian dialect. The new line looks atmospheric and picturesque, like Hutsul culture, yet without explicit, graphic borrowings.
“Carpathian Thing” is already available on yogurt shelves in national supermarket chains.
