BOCHKOVE

IT’S ALWAYS EXCITING

to revisit projects that were once a big part of our journey. In the 2010s, the creative team led by Maksym Lesniak shaped the visual identity of Bochkove beer as part of First Private Brewery’s broader portfolio, giving it a distinctive craft-inspired aesthetic. The brand continued to evolve over the years, taking on a life of its own, and this year, the client returned to us with a new challenge: to lighten up Bochkove and give the brand a fresher, more contemporary feel.

THE KEY STRATEGIC MOVE

was to bring the Bochkove name from the periphery of the can back to the heart of the composition — where it belongs. We deliberately went for a classic beer look, stripping it of unnecessary decoration.

The beer emblem was placed in a minimalist setting, allowing the beer itself to take center stage. We kept the familiar color pairing from the previous design — a warm wheat tone alongside vibrant red. It performs well on the shelf while naturally expressing the character of a light beer.

“BOCHKOVE” — decorative display lettering carried over from the original design, with soft letterforms and a pronounced contrast in stroke weight. We emphasized it with a high-contrast black. It blends classic beer tradition with an unmistakable character of its own.

That’s how the familiar brand identity gets a fresh new voice.
