WORKING WITH “VILIA”,

we have become convinced that a structured business with streamlined processes is the most efficient partner, focusing on technical specifications, clear timelines, expertise, and quick team decisions. For over two decades, companies under the Vilia trademark have been operating in the western regions of Ukraine in various agricultural sectors. We were approached with an established brand identity to design a packaging line of flour produced from local raw materials in accordance with European standards.

THE OPENING OF A CUTTING-EDGE MILLING

complex, equipped with a mill from the Swiss manufacturer Bühler, required modern visual codes. Flour is a staple product for every household: no matter if you’re a casual cook or a passionate baker — everyone wants to achieve excellent results. Having a range of high-quality flours in different grades, the client was looking for packaging that would feel modern, “tasty” and clear for consumers.

THE RECIPE BEHIND THE DESIGN

arose from the idea of showing the “before” and “after”: how raw, shaped dough turns into golden, delicious baked goods and flour-based treats. Additionally, it provides customers with guidance on the best flour grade for different baking purposes. The packaging design of the product line was built around a prominent brand block, clear principles of color differentiation across products, structured information about the product’s benefits, and an appetizing food zone. All of this was wrapped up in the message: “For your culinary ideas”.

WE BRED AND BAKED

this project together with the client extremely quickly. We also assisted the client with designing the stand. And shortly thereafter, “Vilia” presented its updated products for the first time at the largest food innovation exhibition in Paris. We believe our croissant — the star of one of the packages — stands toe-to-toe with French originals.
