THE FIRST RECORDED MENTION 

of the miraculous spring water from Truskavets dates back to the Mid-16th century. And the client who contacted us has been working with the consolidated Truskavetska brand. If there were a rating of client team briefs, this redesign request would be somewhere in our top. Prior research showed both pain points and growth areas, which the team had focused on. In addition, the bottle shape had already been developed, as well as the convenient cap that was unique in our market and literally crowned the PET bottle.

SEARCHING FOR LIVING WATER

to reproduce the regional spirit, the art director has walked the Carpathians on her own many times, and as a bonus, we even have a designer in Truskavets who helped with the moderation of the photo material at the beginning of the project. Among several mountain landscapes made in different angles, styles, techniques, and colors, the client chose this cozy view, where the meandering Solonytsia River flows among the mountains and healing springs are hidden. The color palette chosen for the brand was inspired by the nature itself.

SINCE WE PLANNED

an evolutionary redesign, the logo went through a refresh and preserved its character and accent red color. The green and blue color scheme and the image of the Carpathian landscape were also inherited, but underwent a rethinking and considerable transformation. One of the objectives of the project was to modernize the brand, strengthen its image and move it from being perceived by consumers as a local medicinal pharmacy water to a powerful national actor and water for daily enjoyment.

The TRUSKAVETSKA LINE

consists of water with three types of carbonation. Several technical solutions were proposed to show the differentiation, but finally we chose a simple and effective one — a colored belt at the bottom of the label. Additionally, caps of the matching colors also serve as a noticeable indicator.

COME ON, LET’S GO TO THE CARPATHIANS

and have a great rest! After a traditionally tasty and exciting vacation, Truskavetska water with its natural pH will come in handy, as it has a healthy detox effect. And we, in turn, are very pleased that the redesign has revitalized the brand and significantly stimulated sales.
